Peng Cheng Laboratory (PCL) is a breakthrough, leading and platform-integrated laboratory in the field of network communication. The long-term goals and major needs of the construction of the China Greater Bay Area, mainly engaged in strategic, forward-looking, basic major scientific problems and key core technology research in these fields, is an important part of the national strategic science and technology forces. The laboratory is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.


Peking University (PKU) is a top university in China. Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School(PKUSZ) is a research-oriented international campus of Peking University and the only off-site campus of Peking University in China. 聯合招聘計劃目前圍繞科學智能領域(AI for Science)招聘頂尖人才。AI for Science旨在將人工智能和基礎科學深度融合,利用人工智能在高維建模上的優勢,去解決基礎科學中的重大問題和挑戰,將為基礎科學和重大科學挑戰提供新的解決思路。

該計劃聯合招聘科學智能領域的領軍學者和青年骨干人才,深耕人工智能的基本原理,并依托鵬城云腦、鵬城靶場、鵬城鴻雁等重大科學基礎設施,解決一系列AI for Science領域的調整性問題,包括但不限于:AI for Life Science、AI for Material Science、AI for Energy and Environment、AI for Telecommunication等。

The PKUSZ and the PCL jointly launched the Scholars Appointment Plan on “AI for Science (AI4Science)”.


The joint recruiting plan focuses on appoint top talents in the field of AI4Science, which aims to deeply integrate artificial intelligence and science and use the advantages of AI in high-dimensional modeling to solve major problems and challenges in science, which will provide new solutions to science and major scientific challenges.


The plan jointly recruits leading scholars and young talents in the field of AI4Science, deeply cultivates the basic principles of artificial intelligence, and relies on major scientific infrastructures such as PengCheng Cloud Brain, PengCheng Shooting Range, and PengCheng HongYan to solve some problems in the field of AI4Science, including but not limited to: AI for Life Science, AI for Material Science, AI for Energy and Environment, AI for Telecommunication, etc.


Basic principles of the scholar’s appointment plan:


On the premise that the candidates meet the requirements for the introduction of the corresponding posts in the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University and the Peng Cheng Laboratory, the choices of talents would be respected; and through the complementary advantages among the units and the superimposed model of talent policy, jointly recruit and cultivate talents to build a place for talents gathering and growth.

目標人才及待遇

Expected Talents and Remuneration Package


1.

領軍人才:

(副)教授 / (副)研究員

入選者人事關系可依托北京大學深圳研究生院或鵬城實驗室,同時雙聘至另一方,取得北京大學博導資格后,享受兩單位聯合培養博士研究生項目名額




選擇將人事關系依托北京大學深圳研究生院,通過北京大學校級人事聘任會審核后,可獲聘北京大學深圳研究生院Tenure-track副教授或教授職位,并具有北京大學博導資格;選擇將人事關系依托鵬城實驗室,通過實驗室專業職稱評審委員會審核后,可獲聘實驗室副研究員或研究員職位




預期薪酬包含以下三部分:

a.

基本年薪稅前正高80萬起,副高65萬起;

b.

經單位自主評審通過,新引進人才可享受鵬城孔雀特聘崗位待遇,額外疊加每年30-50萬/年人才補貼(人事關系所在單位承擔);

c.

根據雙聘身份實際貢獻,可獲得鵬城實驗室科研績效或北京大學深圳研究生院教學補貼等,進行額外累加。




在職期間根據深圳市/單位人才住房分配規定,提供人才公租住房保障(由人事關系依托單位承擔)。




人事關系所在單位按照本單位人才政策提供對應科研經費/任務支持(額度建議400萬及以上),參加國家、省、市各級人才項目自主評審,獲評后科研經費可額外累加。




崗位要求


1. 遵守中華人民共和國法律法規,具有良好的科學道德,自覺踐行新時代科學家精神。


2. 世界一流大學高校教授、副教授或相當職務者,以及國內外著名研究機構相當水平的高層次人才; 研究方向主要為人工智能與科學智能,取得同行專家認可的重大科研或技術成果,為該領域學術帶頭人或領軍人才。


3. 海外申請人尚未全職回國(來華)工作,獲聘任通知后須辭去海外工作,全職回國(來華)工作不少于3年。




Expected talents and

remuneration package:


1. Leading Scholar:(Associate) Professor/Researcher


Selected candidates can choose to place their personnel relations at either PKU Shenzhen Graduate School or PCL, and simultaneously being double appointed to the other part.


Those who choose to place their personnel relations at Shenzhen Graduate School of PKU need to pass the review and approval of Committee of PKU before being appointed to a Tenure-track Associate Professor or Professor position at PKU, and possess the qualification of doctoral supervisor of Peking University, and can recruit doctoral and master students of Peking University ; those whose personnel relations are placed in PCL need to pass the review of the Laboratory's Professional Title Review Committee before being appointed to an Associate Research Fellow or a Research Fellow position.


The expected salary includes the following three components:

  • Base annual salary of not less than ¥650k RMB for associate professor, and ¥800k RMB for Professor before tax;

  • Shenzhen New Peacock Talent Program with an additional stacking of 300,000-500,000 tax-free talent allowance per year (borne by the unit where the personnel relationship is located);

  • Depending on the actual contribution of the dual-appointment status, additional accruals such as the research performance of PCL or the teaching allowance of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School can be made.


Provide public rental housing for talents in Shenzhen during the period of employment (borne by the unit where the personnel relationship is located).


The unit where the personnel unit is located shall provide corresponding scientific research funding support in accordance with the talent policy of the unit (the recommended quota is 4 million and above), and the funds obtained from national or provincial and other talent programs can be additionally accumulated.



Requirements:

Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, have good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era;


Tenured professors or associate professors at world-class universities, or high-level talents of comparable level from famous research institutions at home and abroad; with research interests mainly in AI and AI4Science, and have achieved significant scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peer experts, and are regarded as academic leaders or outstanding talents in this field.


The applicants who have not returned to work full-time in China must resign from overseas work after being notified of the appointment and return to work full-time in China for not less than three years.


2.

青年人才:

助理研究員 / 助理教授

入選者人事關系依托鵬城實驗室,同時根據需要雙聘至北京大學深圳研究生院。




上述追加雙聘需在通過北京大學人才評估委員會審核后可獲聘北京大學深圳研究生院Tenure-track助理教授,并具有北京大學博導資格,享受兩單位聯合培養博士研究生項目名額。




薪酬包含以下三部分:

a.

基本年薪稅前不低于55萬(鵬城實驗室);

b.

經單位自主評審通過,可享受鵬城孔雀特聘崗位待遇,額外疊加每年24萬/年人才補貼(鵬城實驗室);

c.

根據實際貢獻可獲得北京大學深圳研究生院教學補貼等,進行額外累加。





在職期間根據深圳市/單位人才住房分配規定,提供人才公租住房保障(鵬城實驗室)。




參與鵬城實驗室國家級重大攻關項目(負責科研經費300萬以上),參加國家、省、市各級人才項目自主評審,獲評后科研經費可額外累加。




聘期內,按照雙方單位各自人才評審流程,人才通過實驗室副研究員/北大Tenure評估后,可按照人才意愿,選擇續簽聘用合同的人事關系所在單位。




崗位要求


1.遵守中華人民共和國法律法規,具有良好的科學道德,自覺踐行新時代科學家精神。


2.原則上年齡35周歲以下,獲得國際知名大學博士學位,研究方向主要為人工智能與科學智能,世界一流大學高校助理教授及以上或相當職務者,以及國內外著名研究機構相當水平的同層次人才;并已經取得同行專家認可的科研或技術成果,且具有成為該領域學術帶頭人或杰出人才的發展潛力。


3.海外申請人尚未全職回國(來華)工作,獲聘任通知后須辭去海外工作,全職回國(來華)工作不少于3年。




2. Young Talents: Assistant Researcher/Assistant Professor


Selected candidates can place their personnel relations at PCL, while being double appointed to Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School as needed.


Those who are reviewed and approved by Committee of Peking University can be appointed as Tenure-track Assistant Professor at PKU,and possess the qualification of doctoral supervisor of Peking University, and can recruit doctoral  and master students of Peking University .


The expected salary includes the following three components:

  • Base annual salary of not less than ¥550,000 RMB before tax (PCL);

  • Shenzhen New Peacock Talent Program with an additional stacking of 240,000 tax-free talent allowance per year;

  • Additional accrual of teaching allowance from Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School based on actual contribution, etc.


Provide public rental housing for talents in Shenzhen during the period of employment (borne by the unit where the personnel relationship is located).


Participate in the national major research projects of PCL (responsible for scientific research funding of 3 million or more), and the funds obtained from national or provincial and other talent programs can be additionally accumulated.


During the 5th-6th year, according to the respective talent review process of both units, the talent who obtains the Lab Associate Fellow / Peking University Tenure review can choose the unit where the personnel relationship of the new contract is renewed and continue to receive the talent policy overlay of the other unit.



Requirements:

Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, have good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists.


Be under the age of 35, have obtained a doctorate degree from an internationally renowned university, with research interests mainly in AI and AI4Science, assistant professors in world-class universities or equivalent level of talents in well-known research institutions at home and abroad; and have achieved scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peer experts, and have the development potential to become academic leaders or outstanding talents in this field.


The applicants who have not returned to work full-time in China, and must resign from overseas work after being notified of the appointment, and return to work full-time in China for not less than three years.
